On the left is miso soup made with discounted white leek (30 yen) and chopped fried tofu.

In the middle is pumpkin topped with a savoury minced chicken sauce, made with pumpkin (264 yen) and ground chicken (272 yen). I used Daisho’s ankake sauce mix (120 yen) to prepare the thickened sauce.

On the right is discounted horse mackerel sashimi (319 yen, 20% off).

Today’s ingredient cost was 1,005 yen.
